JACK HERER
Now this one is a classic. This strain is named for the famous cannabis advocate, Jack Herer. Jack Herer is well known for his illuminating book "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", where he extoils the benefits of cannabis and debunks the myths.
"Jack", the strain, is known for its sweet, candy-like smell and taste. Lovers of Jack Herer (pronounced like "terror" ... Herror) will immediately know that Jack smell once a bag of it is popped open. "That smell" comes from a high terpinolene content. Terpinoline is one of the many terpenes in cannabis. Terpenes are responsible for the smell and taste in cannabis and are thought to have therapeutic benefits of their own.
This is a greenhouse grown batch. It has excellent smell and taste....nice bright green nugs with orange pistil hairs.
Though we don't really buy into the sativa/indica thing as 99.9% of strain available today are hybrid strains. Jack Herer is considered a SATIVA or a SATIVA leaning strain. Breeders have crossed these two variations thousands of times over the last 4-5 decades. These crosses come from the original "landrace" variaties, however very few genuine landrace strains exist.
